IMPACT

“In Oltenia, though minorities have, throughout decades, contributed to the development of the regional cultural heritage (architecture, music, crafts etc.), the documentation of such enormous contribution has remained available only to specialists and almost inexistent to the large public. Therefore, the project promoted the cultural diversity of the South-West part of Romania by the editing of the first interdisciplinary study gathering the past and present of each minority (Bulgarians, Greeks, Jews, Italians, Czechs, Armenians, Albanian, Serbs and Roma) by means of: traditions, customs, specific approach to education and society from an intercultural perspective”.
