Project summary:

The project aimed to launch at national and international level a generation with remarkable aptitudes and competences in the conducting area of the classical music. At the same time, the project managed to implement in Romania the classical music competition initiated by Jeunesses Musicales International, thus aligning the festival to the international competitions calendar, developing human resources in the field of classical music – conducting and making cultural activities, especially classical music ones, more attractive to the general public, particularly the young audience.

At the same time, the project ensured the continuity and the sustainability of the Jeunesses Musicales Competition which reached, in 2015, its 6th edition.

The Gala Concert 2015

  • 1 Gala Concert promoting professional excellence, guaranteeing the young conductors international visibility and offering to the public an exceptional cultural event.
  • 3 finalists displaying their musical talent to 800 people at the Romanian Athenaeum and to 23,000 online spectators participating to the Gala Concert.

The semi-final of the International Conducting Competition Jeunesses Musicales Bucharest

  • 1 semi-final organized selecting those candidates who proved the professional maturity needed in order to perform within the Gala Concert. It represented an opportunity for the participants to affirm their talent and guaranteed them international visibility in view of building their international careers.
