The project focused on the use of digital storytelling in highlighting history and culture, community beliefs and values. Libraries, seen as community spaces, succeeded in facilitating knowledge sharing through the use of digital story, seen as a creative process that requires the use of imagination and develops communication skills. The expected overall results demonstrated the potential of the digital communications in revolutionizing the sharing of knowledge, ideas and culture, in promoting the community involvement in digital storytelling, in stimulating the sharing of "universal" human experiences in order to reveal the individual's power to generate positive changes in society.
