Third open call for Bilateral Relations

The Project Management Unit of the Ministry of Culture from Romania, acting as Programme Operator, announces the opening of the third call for bilateral relations.

Objective

The Fund for bilateral relations is an integral part of the Programme PA17/ RO13 Promotion of Diversity in Culture and Arts within European Cultural Heritage.

The main objective of the Fund is to increase the cooperation between organizations and institutions from Romania and the Donor States, to improve mutual knowledge and understanding and to share the results of their activities.

Areas of support

The present call for proposals falls within Measure A, Partnership development/building and aims at supporting the development of sustainable partnerships between Romanian cultural operators and entities from Donor States (Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein) and to stimulate the preparation of applications for funding for future projects to be submitted under the open calls within the Programme.

Eligible activities

• Meeting or searching for a potential partner for a future project between the Romanian entity and a partner/potential partner from a donor state;
• Attending different conferences, study trips, visits, events, meetings organised by potential partners from Donor States aiming to identify ways and partners for developing donor partnership projects.

Eligible applicants

A. The eligible applicants/partners from Romania under this call are:

• Public entities:
  • Local and national authorities,
  • cultural institutions,
  • higher education and research institutions;
• Non-governmental organisations;
• Natural persons: creators, artists and experts from the field of culture, higher education students.

B.    Organizations/entities from the Donor States can directly apply for funding under this call.

The eligible applicants/partners from the Donor States under this call are:

• public bodies active in the field of culture, legally established and based in the Donor states, organized and managed according to the applicable law;
• non-governmental and non-profit organizations, legally established and based in the Donor States, organized and managed according to the applicable law.
• natural persons: creators, artists and experts from the field of culture, higher education students.

Type of assistance

The total allocation under the present call for applications is 10.000 euro.

The maximum size of the grant is 1.500 euro per entity.

Opening date - 24th of February 2014
Closing date - 10th of March 2014
