Project summary

With an impressive history confirmed by its last two editions, the “Gheorghe Dima International Music Competition” continued to be one of the most important music competitions in Romania.

The project aimed at increasing the quality of music competitions in Romania and at providing an international level competition platform for young musicians, as well as providing them the opportunity of comparing to high-level performance standards before an internationally renowned jury. Thus, the project contributed to supporting intercultural dialogue, promoting education through art among the wide audience, increasing international mobility for artists and artworks.

Facts&figures

• 1 international flute and clarinet contest organized;
• 120 participants from 17 countries around the globe.
