Project summary

This project aimed to set up a Center for Intercultural Education in Constanța, in order to stimulate intercultural education among young people. Thus, an education program was developed for 26 young people from different ethnic groups, organizing painting workshops and exhibitions of the resulted works.

Facts & figures

  • 7 workshops of intercultural education organized at the Centre for Intercultural Education, Constanța;
  • 26 scholars belonging to different ethnic minorities and 5 intercultural experts involved in the project;
  • 1 handbook promoting intercultural education, available here;
  • 1 catalogue comprising the works resulting from the workshops, available here;
  • 2 intercultural exhibitions organised: 1 at Constanța Art Museum and 1 at Sandvika City Hall, in Norway. In Norway, the exhibition included paintings from 8 Norwegian and 15 Romanian artists.
