“Deliberately called Intercommunity, the exhibition was organised by Iași Municipality and the Union of Fine Artists from Iași, the theme being centred on the life, places and traditions of minority communities as filtered through the creative perspectives of fine artists. (…) 29 paintings and 7 sculptures were exhibited, some of them publicly displayed for the first time like the copper and wooden sculpture Poetic Condition of Ukrainian artist Dan Covătaru, or the last piece of The Guard sculptured in copper by George Sorin Purcaru ”.
