“Digital story involves multiple disciplines, including literary and artistic skills, use of technology and inter-cultural exchanges. To that effect, libraries aim to encourage interaction between different ethnic minorities represented in Romania, thus promoting cultural diversity and tolerance for minority ethnic values. The digital story provides the tool by which the memory of the communities can be known and shared”.

“Through its activities, the project agrees the concerns of local, regional, national and European with regard to promoting cultural diversity and intercultural valences. During the two intercultural exhibitions were exposed the best works of arts by the target group of the project, as well as works of arts by 8 artists from Norway and 16 artists from Romania, in order to promote them and internationally.

“The secrets of the traditional handicraft have been passed on from generation to generation and ethnographically define the quality of cultural diversity. The project sustainability is provided by the capacitation and fostering of the local natural and human resources. Thus, it is through the facilitation of professional trainings for the local people and the organization of handicraft workshops that the production of goods and services is encouraged and fostered.”
