Saami culture (Balkanik Festival) – short documentary

“We reached the northern part of Europe, beyond the Arctic Circle, in the region of Finnmark or Lapland to meet the indigenous people of Saami. (…) Most of them live in the northern of Norway (40,000), and the rest in Finland, Sweden and Kola Peninsula. (…) Hundreds of years ago they were nomad, travelling mostly in one of the Scandinavian countries while today, though a minority population, they have their own parliament and are considered to be one of the most well-preserved minority culture in the world”.
