Cooperation Committee for PA17/RO13 Programme, April 12th 2016

The Project Management Unit (PMU) within the Ministry of Culture, acting as Programme Operator, organized on Tuesday, April 12th 2016, in Bucharest the 6th cooperation committee with the purpose of revising the fulfilment of outcomes and outputs within the Programme PA17/RO13 Promotion of diversity in culture and arts within European cultural heritage.  

The meeting enjoyed the participation of Mrs Aleksandra Petie Einen and Mr Hans Philip Einarsen from the Programme Partner - Arts Council Norway, Mrs Mariana Nițelea from the Royal Norwegian Embassy in Bucharest, Mrs Mihaela Terchilă, Mrs Diana Duma and Mrs Simona Mocănescu from the National Focal Point – Ministry of European Funds.

Within the committee the PO presented the implementation phase for the 81 projects (45 large and 36 small) managed under the Programme, emphasizing upon challenges met and mitigations undertaken in order to allow the appropriate working of the projects and the Programme alike.

Moreover, discussions touched upon the partnerships between project promoters and entities from the Donor States, concluding on the necessity to consolidate efforts in order to enhance the implementing of partnership agreements under the most suitable terms.

Promoting and increasing the visibility of the outstanding outcomes within the PA17/RO13 Programme together with the preparation of the Programme closure were subject to the exchange of ideas and experience all throughout the meeting. 

Last but not least, an important point on the agenda was the virtual photo and video touring of the projects within the Programme PA17/RO13, highlighting not only the fact that there was indeed a stringent need for such financing of the local cultural field, but also the fact that the grants received were successfully capitalized into projects that generate added value to cultural diversity in Romania.
